Have you ever been reading a book and had something just jump out at you and take hold of your thoughts? "Forever Father" was imprinted on me this morning as I was reading Elizabeth George's Loving God with All Your Mind. As we come to know God as our "Forever Father," we strive to be obedient to Him, submit to Him, follow Him, show Him. Everything we do is checked by who He is. Who we are becomes His reflection.
I was reminded of a Chris Tomlin song as I pondered that this morning. I leave it here for your listening:
